David holds a BS in Electrical Engineering, a BS in Economics and an MS in Management from MIT. Chris offers more than 20 years of expertise in developing, valuing, acquiring, selling, financing and operating power plants. Beginning his career specializing in site selection for natural gas power plants, he has worked in nearly every aspect of power plant development thereafter, founding and running several successful energy companies. He is certified as both a CPA and CFA. He received his BSBA from Washington University in St. Louis and his MBA from Rice University. Nick holds 20 years of experience working in strategy and operations for energy and high- tech companies.
As COO Nick manages the development and operations for Hecate Energy. Most recently Nick has led the Company to the successful development and construction of the 3 MW Forbes Street Landfill project in Rhode Island. He has also led of the sale and financing of multiple solar PV projects in California, Massachusetts, and Georgia. Nick leads Hecate Energy’s efforts on the continent of Africa and has helped the company receive a USTDA grant for the development of a 55 MW solar PV project in Tanzania.
Electric, a Columbus-based energy services company designed to help communities capture the economic benefit of their spending on electricity through local generation projects and the deployment of energy efficiency strategies. Fazli brings over 25 years of utility, consulting, financial and energy-industry experience as Executive Vice President of EPC and Chief Technology Officer of Hecate Energy. He is widely respected in the industry for optimizing project financial returns through innovative use of technology and transaction structuring. Fazli is a founder of Hecate Energy, and in addition to EPC, leads Hecate’s international project development efforts and project financial structuring. There he developed the concept of bringing the solar power manufacturing supply chain to San Antonio, Texas along with creating 800 permanent high paying jobs as part of an economic development package associated with a 400MW PV solar power project supplying electricity to CPS Energy of San Antonio. Fazli has held numerous leadership positions during his career.
